About

I am interested in how examining temporality in certain texts—modernist fiction, scientific theories, and literary theory—allows us to think through the ways those texts develop concepts of subjectivity. I take particular interest in the turn of the century development of psychical research: ghosts, retrocognition, morphic resonance. These scientific inquiries allow us to understand the way other narratives ground their conceptions of subjectivity in ways of reading time.
