Kaitlyn Patia is a graduate student in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her research focuses on the rhetorical dimensions of citizenship, immigration, and collective memory. She is also broadly interested in the intersection(s) between rhetorical and democratic theory, and the relationship(s) between rhetoric, race, and power.
